Toronto Condo Lofts
Toronto condo lofts are also known as soft lofts. Many developers in Toronto have jumped on the loft bandwagon because Toronto lofts are in high demand amongst wealthy urban professionals. However, developers have recognized one fatal flaw in Toronto factory lofts and that is sometimes they are not in the most desirable locations.
The new factory loft conversions in Toronto are happening where there are still factories to be converted. These also tend to be neighborhoods that are gritty. It is that grit that has turned off a significant market segment. And this is where developers have attempted to recreate the charm of factory conversion lofts in new buildings which they can locate in safer more established neighborhoods.
A great example of a condo loft is the Printing House lofts. In this new development there are a handful of factory lofts in the original part of the building. However, the vast majority of the units are in a new tower that the developer is putting up in the middle of the property. In the new part of the development they are trying to recreate the charm of factory lofts by having 10’ ceilings and some exposed duct work.
Some other Toronto condo lofts include the Mozo lofts and DNA lofts.
