Toronto Lofts
Your Guide to Toronto Lofts
If you are in search for a nontraditional living space, than a Toronto loft maybe exactly what you are after. A Loft is typically an old factory or warehouse buildings that has been converted into living/working spaces. However, Toronto Lofts sometimes come as converted churches, schools, and even banquette halls. Toronto Loft buildings come in all sizes, shape and price points. Click through on the list of buildings in the right hand column to familiarize yourself with some of the incredible non-conventional living spaces available here in Toronto.
By no means was Toronto the first city to convert old factories into living spaces. In fact the movement started in New York’s SoHo neighborhood in the 1940’s. Why I recommend factory lofts to my clients
Simply put factory lofts are cool. When I have a client who is looking for a Toronto condo or loft I will usually recommend that they buy a factory loft. A factory loft has the advantage that there is a finite supply of factories available to be converted. As more generic, sterile condo buildings get thrown up all around Toronto, the appeal of a unique unconventional factory loft only increases. And as the demand builds while supply remains relatively unchanged the price of factory lofts will increase.
