Hoggs Hollow
About The Area
Hoggs Hollow is an enchanting place set in the rustic beauty of the Don River valley. It comprises of winding crescents and private cul de sacs. Hoggs Hollow was built between 1920 and 1960 which accounts for the curious mixture of Tudor, Colonial, Georgian and Modernist architecture. Most of the homes are detached with a few luxury condominium buildings in the mix. Hoggs Hallow is named after James Hogg, a Scotsman who settled in Canada in 1824. There are currently only four of the original Hoggs Hollow homes left and now serve as landmarks in the neighbourhood. Today Hoggs Hollow is another one of Toronto’s elite neighbourhoods. Privacy and lush landscaping are the defining characteristics of this enclave.
